NEW FOOD OF THE FUTURE

Humanoid robotics continues taking new steps. important steps that allow conceive of a future in which, despite its negative connotations about a possible dystopian world, intelligent machines will coexist with humans.

Specialized Boston Dynamics, owned by Alphabet (before Google), a firm has unveiled the new generation of Atlas, one of the most advanced robots today. The new version, more stylized aesthetics, has a lower (84 kg) and smaller (175 centimeters) weight and is designed to perform tasks in inaccessible environments and is capable, according to the development reached, overcoming a difficult terrain and situations of great difficulty as snow. This is achieved thanks to the incorporation of new sensors that analyze in real time the terrain is advanced.

One of the challenges of robotics is to get the robots are increasingly autonomous and able to move more fluidly. The new version of Atlas is balanced to overcome various obstacles, a real milestone in the industry, which looks like gradually being overcome new goals, seemingly banal.

Another of the achievements is its ability to collect packages considerable weight (around five kilograms) to deposit them on a shelf. In addition, the robot can even overcome another obstacle in testing one of the technicians Boston Dynamics throws the box to the ground with a hockey stick and automatically gets react in time to continue the work already scheduled .

This activity will allow, in the future, improve storage processes in enterprises. Atlas, the new generation has improved its ability to stand upright. Researchers have gotten the machine to be able to rise when, in a deliberate way, a human being has thrown to the ground. It is able to support the efforts of their 'carers'.
